Sphere India Sub-Committees

THE STANDING THEMATIC CLUSTER COMMITTEES

1. Sphere India shall have the following Standing Committees for different thematic areas:

Network or Functional Themes:

1. Inter Agency Coordination
2. Training and Capacity Building
3. Information and Knowledge Management
4. Collaborative Advocacy
5. Quality and Accountability

Sectoral themes or clusters

1. WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion)
2. Food   (Nutrition, Food Security and Food Aid Management)
3. Shelter (Shelter, Settlement Planning and Non Food items)
4. Health  (Health services during emergencies)
5. Vulnerable Groups (Gender, Children, Aged, Disabled, PLHIV/AIDS)
6. Environment (Climate Change)
7. Protection and Security

2. Besides the standing thematic cluster committees, the general body or the executive body shall organize the working committees from time to time as required.

3. The representation in the standing or working committees is voluntary and open to all members based on their interests and expertise.

4. The Standing and working subcommittees shall adopt its own rules and procedures
