Information and knowledge Management

Sphere India’s Information and Knowledge Management (I&KM) Programme is a collaborative effort of all member organizations to collate and pool in their information and knowledge resources under a common open source information and knowledge resource centre. It’s a forum for knowledge exchange among key practitioners in the field of disaster risk reduction. Projects are developed for collating information and knowledge resources on different themes of disaster management.

Documentation of good practices in community based disaster risk reduction in India: Traditional Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) practices by communities have proved successful in reducing the vulnerabilities of the communities to natural disasters.
