Christian Aid (CA) is the official development and relief agency of forty sponsoring churches in the United Kingdom and Ireland, working with marginalized and under privileged communities across religion, caste, creed and race. Christian Aid is not an operational organization itself, but works in partnership with local organizations, as they are best placed to understand local needs and to enable people living in poverty to find their own solutions to the problems they face. With the vision of a world free from poverty, CA challenges root causes of poverty through education, advocacy and campaigning to change the rules that continue to widen the gap between rich and poor.
